For most companies, Corporate Social Responsability (CSR) is seen as waste of money. Giving money to Charities as a Marketing tool is not the best way of using CSR. CSR is not about spending money!
Below are 10 ways to start to be responsible without spending money.

Responsible Entrepreneurship means how to run a business in a way that enhances its positive contribution to society whilst minimising negative impacts on people and the environment. Responsible Entrepreneurship is, therefore, a way of adding value to both the business and society. It denotes voluntary business strategies to achieve sustainable development and is fully in line with the notion of corporate social responsibility, which the EU has defined as «a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis»

A BER is similar to the energy label for a household electrical appliance like your fridge. The label has a scale of A-G. A-rated homes are the most energy efficient and G the least efficient.

A BER certificate will be compulsory for almost all new homes by mid 2008. If you are buying or renting a new house or apartment now, you may already be entitled to a BER - so do ask the seller/landlord or their agent for it.

From the 1st of January 2009 a BER certificate will be compulsory for all homes being sold or rented.
BERs will be carried out by specially trained BER assessors, registered by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).  A list of BER Assessors is available on the SEI website .

A computer is very powerful but without Operating System and Softwares it is useless. Over the years I have spent on my computer doing all most everything from DOS to Windows, Notepad to Word, paint to Photoshop, Autocad, Games, ...
